Church Groups: Serving God and our Communiy

Everyone has skills and talents that they can use to serve God, our church and the community. How will you use yours?

We welcome you to get in touch if you have gifts you wish to share with our community. You don't have to share our faith, or be religious, in order to join these groups or volunteer at the church - everyones contribution is welcome.

Getting involved in a groups is a great way to build a community, develop spiritually and build friendships with others as you build on your relationship with Christ. Connecting through our small groups is also the best way to get to know the members of our church.

We are lucky enough to have an organ at St James' Church, and organists who can be booked for special services. However, we currently have an opening for a regular Sunday Service organist.
Could you ring bells?
If you want to arrange a fundraising event on behalf of our WOW project (Wall to Wall) we would love to hear from you.
The Church relies our fantastic volunteers in order to ensure the church functions smoothly.
Cake and Faith are a group of mums who meet for fellowship, growth and support in their faith journey.
There is a well attended group from St James Church who meet to study the Bible. This gives us the opportunity to discuss, grow in faith and share our journey.
